A spoon and a bloody fork you moron!
It is not as if I forgot something when I go camping,
it is what I have forgotten.
Three days of planning and preparing and I forget something as essential as utensils!
They don't call them utensils for nothing.
You're suppose to utilize them and not leave them at home.

5 am and I was sitting in my car on the way from Manila
to Mt Banahaw, Quezon.
Steve Ray Vaughn artistically underscored the sun slowly rising behind the skyline of Makati City.

By the time I finished my Starbucks coffee I passed
Mt. Makiling and pretty soon I would reach Dolores where I would park my car and figure out the next steps.

The idea was that I would start hiking towards Mt. Banahaw and maybe ask for directions now and then.

I had a topographical map of the area and I was confident I'll find my way around.
After 4 to 5 hours of walking I would pitch my tent, make dinner, wait for it to get dark and then go out with a flash light and look for stick insects.

The next day I would decide to climb the remaining three four hours up to the peak and back again or go straight down --
Depending on how I feel.

That was the plan.
Things developed slightly different though.

Just go with the flow.
