Species # 2 and Species # 12 in comparison

These are two different species I found on two different Islands.
What is really interesting is that they seemed to be very similar.
They look almost identical, their eggs look the same and basically everything else.
Except, that in species #12 both male and female have wings whereas in species # 2 neither has wings.
I am not a scientist and there are probably vast differences when looked at with a scientific eye.
As soon as I have a dead specimen I will send them to someone who can study them further.

Comments The female lays about 4 to 8 eggs at a time, but not every day.
They like to stick their eggs into styrofoam
at the bottom of the cage

One sees them rarely mating

I have about 30 nymphs and adults

The female secret some kind of nylon like string. (see picture below)

The scans are not very good. Their eggs are actually almost the same size and exactly the same color.
