SERIOUSLY NOW

Seriously Now, does humor belong to art?
Humor belongs to everything because it is part of our lives.
Or shall I say, it should be part of our lives.
Everyday we are confronted with a barrage of influences which seemed to be designed to take the fun away from us.
Like a person trying to convert to a healthy lifestyle we have to learn that fun is a constant effort.
And fun depends on communication.
Isolation and comfort pulls us away from it.
Art is communication.
So let’s communicate and have fun.
Seriously Now, is humorous art mixed with enough drama to provide it with a long shelf life, keeping it significant beyond the initial chuckle.

Family Man
…too shy to tell his wife that he likes to masturbate now and then

Family Man

The first of a hopefully beautiful series.

Still to come:
Family man desperately trying to remember... (something)
Family man just found out that most of his friends also love to watch lesbians having sex.
Family man not sure he could really afford a mistress if he ever finds one.
And many more…

Palm Tree

Still Life with Plate

I painted this on the beach.
First I thought I shouldn't paint palm trees because that's exactly what they'd expect.
Then I thought that people who know me would think that I think that way.
So, I should paint palm trees.
That went on and on for hours back and forth.
And while I was thinking about it, I painted this piece.
