There is almost nothing
that isn't funny.
That has been my life philosophy for the longest time.
It is still mostly true although as hard as I try
I can't find anything funny about that huge disaster that hit our
neighbors.
Hey, its perfectly alright for you to go out tonight and have some
fun.
There is no point in feeling guilty about that.
But maybe, later when you are about to order your next beer or mocca
latte
pause for a moment and remind yourself about all those people who
probably still don't really know what hit them. Then, take that
money you earmarked for that drink and put it in a separate pocket.
On Monday you'll send it to one of the many organizations who are
helping those people, ok? If you do that for me I'll hereby graciously
allow you to order you next drink and I hope you enjoy yourself
tonight because it won't help anybody if you feel miserable too.
